OATs - Outreach Action Teams

   What excites you and you would do if you did not have to work for a living?  What is your passion?  The Outreach Board is starting an effort where people in our church discover their passion and group with three to five others with the same passion.  The group then does a servant event, an intentional act of compassion in the community.  This group is called an Outreach Action Team (OAT)!  If unchurched people are not convinced by our actions that we care for others, then they will not care what we say.  Acts of compassion are very powerful signs that give us opportunity to shar the Good News about Jesus.  We can respond to others about why we care - Jesus cares for us and we are simply passing that on! 

   Please fill out an OAT form and list your passion(s) and offer suggestions for particular servant events.  Please let Deb Tasky know if you have any questions or ideas about this.
